About the NFC bundle

NFC tag reading works on iPhone 7 and later running iOS 14 or newer. That covers the vast majority of iPhones currently in use. No special settings or permissions needed — just tap and go.
If your storage is primarily plastic tubs, cardboard boxes, wooden shelves, or similar non-metal surfaces, the standard pack is perfect. If you're sticking tags to metal tool chests, steel shelving, filing cabinets, or metal bins — get the anti-metal pack. Standard NFC tags don't work reliably on metal because the metal absorbs the NFC signal; the anti-metal tags have a ferrite layer that solves this.
Yes — TubTag can reprogram an NFC tag anytime from the tub detail screen. If you peel a sticker off one tub and move it to another, just tap your iPhone to it and select "Re-program NFC Tag." The tag will be updated to reflect the new tub. Note that the adhesive may weaken after removing — these are designed to be permanent, so reuse isn't guaranteed.
The stickers have a waterproof coating and strong permanent adhesive. For extra durability in humid environments, apply a strip of clear packing tape over the sticker after attaching it. This is especially recommended for garages, basements, and outdoor storage.
